The coaching philosophy

Coaching is mentoring others through your expertise and your experiences.

Coaching runs in my family. My grandfather is in the Texas High School Coaching Hall of Fame. I spent my first decade teaching business and coaching football, basketball, baseball and track — and today I coach my youngest son's travel team with Impact Baseball Club.

I coach kids, I coach coworkers, and I coach my clients — the same way every time: show up prepared, teach the fundamentals, and give 110.

Why “We Give 110”

The We Give 110 System

It started with my dad, who used “We Give 110” as a motto with his cadets at West Point. It named my first company, became a standard I taught my coworkers, and is now the operating system I run my life on.

Return & Report is a daily habit for me — and it's exactly what I do with a client's business: document what's happening, analyze it honestly, and adjust.

The playbook

What I help with

One partner across the parts of the business that usually get split between five vendors. Tap any play to see what it looks like in practice.

How we work

Run it like a season

Step 1

Scout

Watch the film. I sit with your team, map how work really flows, and find where time and money leak.

Step 2

Game plan

A short, prioritized plan: what to fix first, what it costs, and what winning looks like.

Step 3

Practice

We build it together and train the people who'll run it — reps until it's second nature.

Step 4

Game day

Go live, measure, then return and report: review, adjust, and step back so your team owns the win.

A decade teaching and coaching, then inspection, construction, SaaS education, cybersecurity and real estate operations — with three ventures of my own along the way.

FULL CIRCLE

In 2016, after closing my first company, Brandon Weddle hired me at Cornerstone Outdoors. I came in unable to read a tape measure and left able to build decks, patio covers and a new life. The idea for a design showroom was born there. Today Brandon co-leads NexLevel Living, and I'm helping build it as a consultant.
